We erected soundproofing walls and implemented landscaping measures as well as industrial waste treatment measures in order to maintain the health of the neighboring environment.

We install the power stations machinery and equipment indoors in the most distant locations from the station’s perimeter; moreover, the foundations for the machinery and equipment are quite robust. We also install silencers and soundproofing walls and use sound attenuating design to minimize noise and vibration at the plant perimeter.

By proactively adopting the “3 Rs” - reduce, reuse and recycle - and promoting zero emissions, we recycle almost all industrial waste produced at our power stations. In addition, the coal ash and gypsum produced through our operations are sold or efficiently utilized as recycled resources through quality management.

Appropriate treatment of industrial waste

With a concerted effort, we have adopted an in-house rule for the industrial waste treatment and are providing appropriate treatment according to the terms of the Waste Management and Public Cleansing Law. We promote the recycling of industrial waste generated at our power stations by assigning personnel to manage its overall disposal.
