Case Studies
On a site adjacent to the Tanjung Jati B coal-fired thermal power plant (four units) in central Java, Indonesia, two new ultra-supercritical coal-fired thermal power plant units (1,000 MW each) were constructed.
We had been involved in this project from the outset, and provided construction support and operational preparation support services.
Our construction support included drawing review and advice to solve a variety of problems. Operational preparation support included support for the preparation of procedures and maintenance standards. We also provided educational support for local O&M personnel at our Maizuru Power Plant (coal-fired) and training facility.
Based on our years of experience operating thermal power plants and data on problems, we can identify hidden risks and potential operating challenges in the new thermal power plant, as well as propose ways to ensure that operations can start and proceed smoothly.
